Dylan Rivers
Sound Designer & Audio Engineer
Dylan is an audio engineer and composer based in the greater Seattle area. From a young age, he was drawn to the storytelling potential of music and video games, which lead him to discover his passion for sound design.
Since then, Dylan has accumulated a wealth of audio experience. He has worked with companies such as Meta, contributing to diverse projects in Gaming, Music, VR, and Podcasting. He has also collaborated with Grammy-winning engineers and musicians, award-winning filmmakers, and game designers from Blizzard, Wizards of the Coast, and The Pokémon Company.
Growing up in the PNW, Dylan learned he could combine his loves of gaming and music into sound design through DigiPen Institute of Technology. This led him to move to Los Angeles, where he earned a BA in Recording Arts with a minor in Screenwriting from Loyola Marymount University. After years of working in California, he returned home and earned a Professional Certificate in Game Design from the University of Washington. Currently, he prioritizes sound design, technical sound design, and composition for indie game studios.
Outside of audio and games, Dylan enjoys playing ultimate frisbee, social dancing with friends, and supporting his beloved Seattle sports teams.
